Members of the Nevada Faculty Alliance are effectively represented by one of their own in the course of executive and legislative branch decision-making. The conference maintains one  ex-officio position on its State Board for a faculty member to serve as our liaison with the State of Nevada government,  the Chancellor's office,  the Board of Regents, the eight campus presidents, and the eight campus chapters.
